    Protect your Picanto with this easy system designed to show you exactly how much room you have at the back when reversing and parking. A warning sound tells you when you’re too close to an object.

  • Front/Side/Curtain/Knee airbags

    The airbag system is an effective active safety measure which will deploy during side or front impact to cushion the force on the occupants.   The front passenger airbag can also be deactivated to allow a child seat to be used in this position whilst the EX Model also has a drivers knee airbag to further enhance protection.

  • Hill Start Assist Control (HAC)

    We know what it’s like when you have to pull away from a standing start when you’re on a steep upward incline. HAC stops you from rolling backwards.

  • LED Tail Lights

    Each Picanto taillight contains 24 individual LED ’s which look great and offer improved light intensity.

  • VSM

    VSM stands for Vehicle Stability Management, and works in conjunction with Motor Driven Power Steering to ensure the car stays stable when simultaneously braking and cornering.

  • Electronic Stability Programme

    Rated by the NHTSA as what could be the greatest safety innovation since the safety belt, ESP compares the movement of your car with steering-wheel inputs. If there is any tendency to slide or skid, the system is designed to brake one or more of the wheels and, if necessary, reduce the engine power. The NHTSA has reported that passenger vehicles have a 30% reduction in fatal single vehicle crashes when equipped with ESP.
