Kia Motors are pleased to be associated with the new Match Fishing League coming to TV One in July 2010, this is not just another fishing show!
Not only have Kia supplied the league with a brand new Sorento R to use during filming, we have also sponsored one of the five regional teams competing for the ultimate glory and the chance to become the Match Fishing League champion. 'Hooked on Kia' captained by Mike Rendell, editor and co owner of Fishing Coast to Coast magazine, is leading our team in this series which includes 20 matches and some of the best competitive fishing you’ll see anywhere.
Watch as the five teams travel to their rivals regions and battle to beat the locals at their own game. The home team specifies the target species, fishing area, bait limits and equipment restrictions, so the away players must use their combined strengths and knowledge to gain an edge in each contest. With the final scores not being revealed until the last bout, you'll have to tune in to the excitement that is the Match Fishing League.
